The Summer session starts Monday June 6
OVERVIEW
1. Practices will be held at Concordia University – Ann Arbor, from 7 – 9 PM. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Practices will last up to 2 hours each night, depending on whether or not athletes are doing field events, hurdles and/or relays. All kids ages 6-18, and kids who are turning 6 later this year, are welcome
2. There will be no practice on Monday July 4 (Independence Day)
3. The last practice for those NOT attending the “AAU Junior Olympics National Track & Field Championships” (Greensboro, NC) will be on Thursday July 28.
4. The season ends Saturday August 6, at the conclusion of the “AAU Junior Olympics National Track & Field Championships” (Greensboro, NC)
SUMMER TRACK MEET SCHEDULE
There will be as many as 8 track meets, including the “AAU Junior Olympics National Track & Field Championships” which will be held in Greensboro, NC. Most meets will be held in Michigan, but some will be held out of state, including Ohio and North Carolina, and possibly Illinois.

Saturday-Sunday, June 18-19: AAU Junior Olympics State Track & Field Championships @ Renaissance High School (Detroit, MI)
Saturday June 25: Albion Blazer Invitational @ Concord High School (Concord, MI)
Thursday-Sunday, June 30 – July 3: AAU Junior Olympics Regional Track & Field Championships @ Renaissance High School (Detroit, MI)
Saturday July 9: Grand Rapids Invitational @ Houseman Field (Grand Rapids, MI) — TENTATIVE
Saturday July 16: Motor City Classic @ Oak Park HS (Oak Park, MI)
